Three American soldiers are sent to wartime Buenos Aires to stop a secret German vessel from resupplying submarines, intercept a shipment of money earmarked for a postwar Reich, and thwart a coup. Rival Axis and Allied sympathizers and bickering between the OSS and the FBI make the mission difficult, but the soldiers are confident of success. The mission takes an ugly turn, however, when the father of one of the soldiers is assassinated -- and now revenge is foremost on their minds
